The bathroom really needs an upgrade. it had outdated fixtures that felt out of place compared to the rest of the elegant environment. The shower was particularly problematic with a high step-in and poor water pressure, making it a slip hazard. the mini-fridge was limited to only water and wine, lacking any common soft beverage options. Breakfast also lacked savory choices, which left many feeling unfulfilled after the sweet offerings. The room itself in one instance felt overly crowded with unnecessary furniture, detracting from the comfort of the space.

Exploring Bourges was delightful, especially with a stay in a wonderfully restored property. I really enjoyed our spacious Double Room 'Picard de Phélippeaux', which offered a luxurious vibe and an elegantly styled interior. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, featuring a stunning spread that included fresh juices and an array of pastries, perfect for fueling a day of wandering around the nearby Cathedrale St-Etienne and the beautiful Jardin de l'Archeveche.

Stunning breakfast in a historic setting
Waking up to the aroma of fresh croissants and handmade cakes created a delightful start to our mornings. The elegant dining area buzzed with friendly conversations—everyone was reveling in the extraordinary breakfast spread.
The bathroom’s outdated fixtures detracted slightly from the overall experience. It felt a bit behind the luxurious room ambiance offered throughout the rest of the chateau.

Charming stay with a delightful breakfast
We really loved the atmosphere here! Our room had this amazing vintage style, and chatting with Bruno about the place was a highlight. Breakfast was a treat—freshly baked pastries that were just too good to resist. Just wish the Wi-Fi was stronger, though. A solid connection would've made things even better!

The breakfast spread included a delightful range of pastries, creating a lovely start to each day. the shower in the suite was uncomfortably high to step in and out of, and lacked sufficient water pressure. While the organic soap was a nice touch, the absence of quality shampoo and conditioner was disappointing. the lack of savory breakfast options left me craving more variety.
